Arch Research wins ISID 2022 Best Poster Award

2022/03/18

Our Technical Advisor, Jun Kato, received the Best Poster Award at the ISID 2022 (2nd International Symposium on Intelligence Design).

The award was granted for a poster presentation on the research and development of the storyboard creation tool “Griffith” by our research team, Arch Research. The award was shared with Director Kazuya Murata, who collaborated on the development of Griffith, as well as our colleagues Kenta Hara, Satoko Okuno, Tetsushi Suzuki, and Nao Hirasawa.

This marks the second time Arch Research has won the Best Poster Award, following last year’s win.

Research and development aimed at making the animation production process more creative and efficient through the power of information technology is an urgent priority for the entire industry. Last December, Arch Research organized and presented a panel session titled “R&D in Animation Production: Current Status and Future Prospects” at SIGGRAPH Asia 2021, a leading international conference in the field of computer graphics. A report on the event is available on the website and in a feature article (pp. 50–55) in the industry magazine “CGWORLD Vol. 283”. We encourage you to take a look.
