National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology member Jun Kato has joined Arch as a techological advisor. Kato is part of the National Research and Development Agency’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, and has participated in the research of various tools and environments relating to creation of media. Kato will be working with us to improve our IT, and make the process of creation animation run more smoothly. We are expecting his work to assist Arch greatly with our contributions to the animation industry not just in Japan, but overseas as well.
Jun Kato Profile
Finished a doctoral course at the Tokyo University Graduate School of Information Science and Technology in 2014. PhD (Information Science and Technology). This individual has received many awards for his achievements in creating user interfaces and integrated environmental design in order to support creators. A special research member for the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (DC1), he has interned at foreign organizations such as Microsoft and Adobe. He joined Arch in 2018 as a technical advisor, and continues to work as a researcher at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.
